Vallarsa is the river Leno valley that connects Rovereto to the province of Vicenza.
The “Path of Peace” runs through the frontline of the Great War, from the fortifications of Monte Zugna, Passo Buole and the Carega group at the spectacular Little Dolomites.
From the Pian delle Fugazze Pass, along the Heroes’ Road, you can reach the top of Pasubio, the Italian and Austro-Hungarian “teeth”, the lock of Lancia and the Colsanto. Numerous detours, including the suggestive 52 Tunnels Road, lead you to shelters and alpine huts with magnificent views.
The clear waters of the streams and the Poiani pond are ideal for sport fishing.
At Riva di Vallarsa, the characteristic Museum of the Rural Civilization gives a glimpse of the past with real tools and reconstructions of the home-country houses of the farmhouse. From Vallarsa you can quickly reach Rovereto with its castles and museums and the famous Lake Garda.
